AI adoption, expanding access and reliance on technology providers are changing how organisations manage cyber risk. This session examines how these developments connect and what they mean for the continuity and recovery of critical business services across the Caribbean.
Drawing on research and practical examples, the presentation will explore AI governance, privileged access, third-party concentration risk and cyber resilience. For IIA and ISACA professionals working in internal audit, governance, risk, cybersecurity and technology, the focus will be on evaluating control effectiveness, examining evidence and asking informed questions of management and the board. Interactive polls and a scenario exercise will help participants apply the discussion to their own organisations.
The presentation will be followed by Regional Perspectives and Q&A, a moderated panel with subject-matter experts from participating territories. Attendees will have the opportunity to raise questions relevant to their local context and compare approaches across the region.
Format: 90-minute interactive presentation followed by a 30-minute regional panel discussion and Q&A.
