This workshop will meet the training requirements for licensing in Wood-Destroying Insect Inspection (Category 12) as required under Ohio Law. Training is conducted by Ohio State University Extension and the Ohio Department of Agriculture at:

Ohio Department of Agriculture
8995 E. Main St. Bldg 23
Reynoldsburg, OH 43068

This course will also help prepare for the Category 12 exam. To obtain a license in category 12, you must pass both core and category 12 exams. Obtain exam study materials here.
This course will
not prepare you for the core exam. Core exam preparation classes are offered six times a year.  For information, see
New Pesticide Applicator Training.

If you already have a commercial pesticide license, you will not need to retake the Core exam, but will need to complete this training and pass the Category 12 exam.

Licensed WDI Inspectors may take this class for five hours of recertification credit including one hour of core and four hours of category 10b.
