Crystal Gauvin, Senior Economist at FEA

With more than 16 years of experience in the wood products industry, Crystal leads market analysis initiatives and provides clients with actionable insights on industry trends and pricing. Crystal spearheaded the development of PricePulse, North America’s first transaction-based wood products price report, helping transform price discovery across the industry. She is also the lead author of FEA’s weekly Wood Markets Status & Trends (WMST) report and oversees the company’s Sawmill Profiles program.

Outside of FEA, Crystal is a three-time World Cup Champion professional archer and an ESPN color commentator. She holds a BS in Mathematics from Xavier University and an MS in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Rhode Island.
