This e-learning module is designed to help current and prospective Interconnection Customers understand the features of the Interconnection Projects Portal and how to use its functionalities to participate in NYISO’s Cluster Study process for Interconnection. The training provides an overview of portal access, user roles, portal layout and navigation, and walks participants through key Interconnection Customer tasks, including submitting a pre-application, completing activities during the application window, submitting an Interconnection Request or Contingent Project Application, viewing and responding to deficiencies during the open period, and navigating tasks in the portal during the Customer Engagement Window, and Decision Periods. This presentation will also provide a list of additional references.

The Market Training team’s mission is to provide NYISO market and project implementation training and education to stakeholders and NYISO employees, for the purpose of supporting the NYISO’s mission to serve the public interest and provide benefit to consumers.
