Register here for a remote learning series designed to explore meaningful strategies for literacy instruction. These five free sessions will take place at your school via Zoom during scheduled Monday professional development time. You will earn one hour of CTLE credit for each session. If you attend all five sessions, that adds up to five hours of CTLE credit.
Paraprofessionals will learn how fluency bridges the gap between word recognition and language comprehension, how morphology builds student vocabulary and how effective questioning promotes reading comprehension. The series also addresses the roles of decoding and blending in developing students' reading skills and provides practical strategies for supporting the literacy of multilingual learners.
