Join the 2026 New Mexico Water Resilience CORE Institute for an interactive, hands-on workshop bringing together water researchers, managers, policymakers, data scientists, and agricultural water users to tackle some of New Mexico’s most pressing water-resilience challenges. Participants will explore real-world needs, identify practical problems, examine existing data and tools, and envision next-generation solutions that integrate science, data, AI, and advanced computing.

Expect engaging lightning talks, collaborative breakout sessions, and facilitated exercises focused on agricultural water management, irrigation, aquifers, water allocation, livestock and grazing decisions, and water data. You will leave the workshop with new cross-disciplinary connections, a shared framework for collaborative innovation, clearer research and technology priorities, and actionable ideas for transforming water challenges into future projects, partnerships, and scalable solutions for New Mexico.
