ServSafe® Retest is for individuals who have completed the ServSafe® course and need to retake the proctored exam. Participants who complete the multiple-choice exam with a score of 70% or better will receive a ServSafe® certification, which meets the PDA requirement for food safety certification.
Instructors will work with each individual registrant to schedule a time and location for the retake exam.
The requirements for a Certified Food Protection Manager under the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Food Employee Certification Act will be changing. Until the changes are implemented, the current requirement remains in effect. To receive and maintain certification, individuals are required to pass a certification exam every five (5) years.
