PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

• Discuss the broad spectrum of the modern IR practice, including review of best clinical practices and current strategies for:
  • Complex peripheral embolization procedures, portal hypertension, Small Vessel Embolization including HAE, UAE and PAE
  • Radial for Visceral Interventions
  • Radial to Peripheral Interventions
  • Managing access and closure
• Intended audience: Early career physicians, and those currently enrolled in an Interventional Radiology Residency Program: PGY5-PGY7
• Residents will participate in hands-on workshops with anatomical flow, ultrasound models, and simulation respective to complex embolization procedures
• Attendees will take a guided tour of the coil manufacturing facility
