About SKTT

A well-developed knowledge translation (KT) plan is often a proposal requirement for health research funding agencies in Canada and abroad. Various sectors are also demonstrating greater attention to the use and impact of research.

Specialist Knowledge Translation Training (SKTT) is designed for those interested in sharing knowledge with audiences beyond the academic community. The workshop teaches the unique skillset of knowledge translation (KT) practice, including understanding how to increase the impact potential of research, building practical KT planning skills, and communicating with various audiences.

SKTT is appropriate for educators, scientists, clinicians, and KT professionals. While the focus is on health, the material is relevant to individuals working in other sectors.

Please note that course materials are provided digitally.
