Curriculum
Challenging, Practical and Career-Building
Georgia Banking School students complete a robust curriculum focused on the following outcomes:
- Learn how banking functions interconnect and affect profitability
- Build analytical and management skills for real-world decisions
- Strengthen community development and business development strategies
- Develop teamwork, leadership and problem-solving techniques
- Understand the legal and regulatory landscape, including CRA and Federal Reserve policies
Each year builds on the last to create a cohesive learning journey. First-year students take a pre- and post-test; second-year students take a final exam. Third-year students work in teams to complete a bank simulation, presenting their results to a panel of judges on Friday. The program concludes with individuals recognized at a formal graduation ceremony.
