About CBIO Collaborative
The Circular Bioeconomy Innovation Collaborative (CBIO) is a multi-sector ecosystem of over 130 partners who collaborate to advance circular bioeconomy innovation and industry development. Anchored in California's North San Joaquin Valley, with statewide and global partnerships, CBIO drives use-inspired R&D, workforce development, industry development, and public policy solutions to enable the circular bioeconomy. CBIO is coordinated by a Core Management Team from BEAM Circular, UC Merced, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, the Manufacturers Council of the Central Valley, WE Will! Regional K16 Collaborative, Modesto Junior College, and Merced College, and governed by a cross-sector Leadership Council of 25 members representing the Collaborative's broad membership.
