Medication Administration and Pharmacy Process Training

3-Hour Virtual Training

 Open to All Guardian Communities

This virtual Zoom training provides guidelines for safe and accurate medication administration based on the Michigan Public Health Code.

We focus on the big picture of medication administration, starting with med cart setup and ending with routes of administration.

This training also provides education and guidance on Guardian Pharmacy-specific processes for cycle medications, “profile-only” residents, eMAR interfaces, and medication destruction.

We highly encourage anyone involved in medication management to attend this valuable and informative training so that, together, we can provide the highest level of care to our residents.
