About ʻAha Lōkahi Conference

The Hawaiʻi Afterschool Alliance (HAA) presents the ʻAha Lōkahi: ʻOhana & CommUNITY Engagement Conference. This year’s theme, “Hā: Breathing Life into Learning and Community,” centers the deep connection between learning, relationships, and well-being. Grounded in Nā Hopena Aʻo (HĀ), the conference uplifts environments where youth, families, and communities are connected and able to thrive. We will explore how afterschool, summer programs, and community schools can bring these values to life, strengthening relationships and cultivating spaces rooted in culture, equity, and care.
