Virtual Meeting 1: 13 May 2025
To kick off the ADVANCE 2025 programme an online session will take place, providing all successful applicants the opportunity to virtually meet their peers and the ADVANCE faculty
Face-to-Face Meeting 1: 17–18 October 2025
The first ADVANCE meeting will take place on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 October 2025 and will comprise a variety of topics, including:
- The do's and don'ts of clinical study design in CF clinical research – Professor Harm Tiddens
- Translation of CF research to clinical practice: Sharing your CF research with peers – All Faculty
- Applying for funding in research for CF – Professor Jane Davies
- Adding to the evidence base in CF: Good publication practices for research in CF – Professor Patrick Flume
Virtual Meeting 2: November/December 2025
An online session will take place, with a focus on the topic of critical appraisal of the CF literature
Face-to-Face Meeting 2: 6–7 March 2026
The ADVANCE 2025 programme will conclude with a second face-to-face meeting taking place on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 March 2026. Topics will include:
- Building a high-performing multidisciplinary team in your CF Centre – Professor Harm Tiddens
- Sources of evidence in CF: A focus on real-world evidence – Professor Jane Davies
- Fit-for-the-future: Research priorities in CF care – Professor Isabelle Fajac
- CF Service Design: Future-proofing to meet the needs of the changing CF population – Professor Daniel Peckham
