WORLD JERSEY CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
In February 2027, Jersey New Zealand is proud to host the World Jersey Conference on New Zealand soil - a three-week journey running 8 to 26 February 2027, taking in the best of Northland and the South Island alongside six days of conference in the heart of the Waikato.
Bringing together more than 80 delegates from up to 39 World Jersey Bureau member countries, this is a rare gathering of the global Jersey community - breeders, scientists, industry leaders and the next generation of farmers, all united by their passion for the world's most efficient dairy breed.
An optional five-day Pre-Conference Tour through the Northland and a seven-day Post-Conference Tour through the South Island bookend the conference week, making this a complete New Zealand experience for those who want it.
And 2027 makes it even more special. This year marks JerseyNZ's 125th anniversary - 125 years of breeding excellence, community, and a deep commitment to the future of the Jersey in New Zealand.

KEY DETAILS
The World Jersey Conference 2027 runs 8 – 26 February across the North and South Islands of New Zealand. The conference week is 13 – 18 February in the Waikato. Pre and Post-Conference Tours are optional - but highly recommended.

From a Pōwhiri welcome on a working Waikato farm to a gala dinner celebrating 125 years of JerseyNZ - every day of conference week is built around the breed, the people, and the land.
Welcome Function — Zenith and Ebboni Jersey Farm
Day 1 | Saturday, 13 February
Start your conference week the right way. A traditional Pōwhiri welcome, keynote speakers, herd visit, and a BBQ dinner under the Waikato sky at Zenith and Ebboni Jersey Farm, Taupiri.
LIC Sessions & Bull Herd Visit
Day 2 | Sunday, 14 February
A full day at Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) - combining industry presentations, rotational bull herd visits, and a methane research farm tour. Evening dinner and social event at LIC's Havey Tempero Social Club.
World Jersey Conference Sessions
Day 3 | Monday, 15 February
A full morning of conference sessions at the Novotel Hamilton Tainui, with trade stands and morning tea. In the afternoon you have the option to visit Hamilton Gardens.
Jersey Classic Show
Day 4 | Tuesday, 16 February
Hosted by the Te Awamutu Jersey Club at Kihikihi Domain - a showcase of the finest Jersey cattle in New Zealand. Trade pop-up stands on-site. Evening dinner at Reggies rooftop restaurant, Hamilton (optional).
Hobbiton Dinner
Day 5 | Wednesday, 17 February
A full morning of conference and then a herd visit at Thornwood Jerseys, Kihikihi, before heading to one of New Zealand's most iconic destinations - Hobbiton Movie Set. Tour the Shire, then sit down to dinner in the Party Marquee.
CRV Bellevue Farm visit and Green to Gold - 125 Years Celebration.
Day 6 | Thursday, 18 February
The closing gala. Herd visits at CRVs Bellevue Farm and Kuku Jerseys, followed by the 125th anniversary celebration at The Narrows - complete with the World Jersey Awards, an alt-drop dinner, and a live band.

Day 2 | Sunday, 14 February
For those that wish to do something a little diffirent we have an alternative option to book on day two - ths is included in the ticket price.

- Afternoon transfer to LIC to meet up wtih the rest of the group.
This itinerary will replace the LIC Farm Visit. You will then meet up with the conference at LIC for dinner.
