The UFT is pleased to announce that our Saturday enrichment classes for students of all grades are back!  The response from students, teachers and parents to our fall series of online sessions was so overwhelming, we’re delighted to offer a new series on April 10 and 24.

In these virtual sessions, students of all grades and ages will actively participate with teachers and students from around the city in enjoyable, exciting and informative activities. They may explore what it means to be a hero, analyze poetry (and write their own!) or work on a project that examines current events and social justice.  All sessions are connected to grade level content that students are learning in classes. They’re suitable for all students including those with special needs.

This is not tutoring but active learning with enjoyable, stimulating activities that make learning fun.  One thing is certain: Kids won’t be bored.

If your child participated in any Saturday Academy classes this past fall, they can tell you how great it was. If they didn’t, then we’re sure you’ll want to enroll them for the spring classes so they don’t miss out on what promises to be a memorable experience for all.
