Pony up for an unforgettable afternoon at the races with MPI D/FW! 🏆

Join us at Lone Star Park for a high-energy afternoon of networking, live racing, friendly competition, and FUNdraising—all while supporting MPI D/FW scholarships for meeting and event professionals.

We’ll kick things off with a fun, interactive horse racing handicapping session, where you’ll learn how to read the racing program, size up the field, and make your picks like a pro. Then it’s off to the races! Cheer on your favorites through multiple live races while connecting with industry friends and colleagues in a relaxed, social setting.

Throughout the afternoon, you’ll also have opportunities to join in FUNdraising activities benefiting MPI D/FW scholarships, helping fellow industry professionals invest in their education and career growth.

🏇 Place your bet towards some exciting raffle prizes made possible by our generous sponsors.   Raffle tickets will be sold at the event as 1 for $10 or 6 for $50.  

🏇 A wine pull offered at $10 each which allows you to take home a great bottle of wine valued at $15-$30.  This is one race where everyone’s a winner.

🏇 A series of 7 live horse races* that will get the adrenaline pumping.

Derby Bites & Sips: We’ll keep you fueled for the races with heavy hors d’oeuvres and hosted beer and wine. Additional cocktails and beverages will be available for purchase—so grab a bite, raise a glass and enjoy the races!

Attire: Derby Business Casual : Come networking-ready with a little race-day flair! Think polished business casual with a Derby twist—hats, fascinators, bow ties, sport coats, fun prints and fall-inspired touches are encouraged, but never required. Come for the connections; add a little Derby style if you’re feeling lucky!
