Dr. Barry Benton – Oxford, AL

Dr. Barry Benton is a board-certified orthodontist, educator, and practice owner dedicated to advancing clinical excellence and patient care. After earning his D.M.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he received the Dental Academic Research Training (DART) Program Summer Research Award, he completed his orthodontic residency and master's degree at LSU. He achieved American Board of Orthodontics certification shortly after graduation, becoming one of the youngest orthodontists to earn board certification at the time.

Today, Dr. Benton serves as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham while maintaining a full-time private practice. Passionate about education and innovation, he is committed to raising the standard of orthodontic care by integrating emerging technologies and evidence-based techniques into clinical practice and mentoring the next generation of orthodontists.
