Survey & Clinical Risk Management: LTC Leadership: Coaching, Mentoring & Accountability

This year-long virtual series is designed to equip LTC leaders, clinicians, and staff with the knowledge and skills needed to stay compliant, improve quality outcomes, and strengthen survey readiness. Each monthly session focuses on a critical area of LTC operational or clinical risk, blending regulatory guidance with practical strategies for implementation of corrective actions. Participants will gain actionable insights and tools to enhance facility performance, survey readiness, and risk mitigation.

Course Description:

This session addresses leadership development, emphasizing coaching, mentoring, and accountability to foster a culture of excellence in long-term care facilities. Participants will learn tools to support staff growth and performance.

2. Foster accountability and leadership at all levels.

3. Enhance team performance and facility outcomes.

Course Content

15 min: Overview of leadership principles in LTC
30 min: Practical coaching and mentoring strategies
15 min: Q&A and discussion

CEU Credit: This program is approved by the Georgia Board of Long-Term Care Facility Administrators, and the Georgia Board of Nursing will earn 1 continuing education hour in the category of Leadership Skills & Management (LSM).

Attendance will be tracked, and you must demonstrate full participation in order to receive CEU credit. Therefore, all attendees:

1. Must demonstrate full participation for the entirety of the webinar.
2. Must attend using the link provided to access the webinar.
3. Sign in using the email you used to register for the training.
4. Must be logged on to the webinar via a computer device which enables you to view the slides, and have the ability to engage in chat, respond to polls and post questions in order to be eligible to receive credit.

Attendees who dial in only and do not sign into the webinar on a computer device will not receive credit.

Cancellations: All cancellation requests must be in writing and may be emailed to info@ghca.info or faxed to 678-289-6400. A full refund will be granted for cancellations received within three (3) business days of the training. All "no-shows" and any cancellations received after this date will be responsible for the full cost of registration plus applicable processing fees. GHCA reserves the right to bill for any training materials ordered for this course.
