This 90-minute interactive program will provide a “deep dive” into the challenging issues that arise in conducting internal investigations involving Executive-level employees.
The program will explore the legal and ethical issues that arise in internal investigations of Executives and of internal complaints by Executives, including counsels’ obligation to report up to the Board, the retention of “independent” counsel, the preservation of the attorney-client privilege, investigations of in-house counsel, and limitations on the ability to restrict complainant and witness communications and self-help discovery.
The program will include a combination of panel discussion and case scenarios that delve into deeper and deeper levels of complexity.
