When and where will the Live Wildly Immersive take place?
Live Wildly: A Florida Immersive on Ecology, Economy, and Place will take place at Eagle Haven Ranch in Lake Wales, Florida. We will provide additional details to registrants about where to meet each day of the immersive as we get close to the date.
Is there a cost to attend? What is included in my registration?
Your complimentary registration includes the following:
- Transportation and admission to all programs, activities and sites through the duration of trip, including airport shuttles.
- Light lunch and Welcome Reception on November 10, 2026
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided on November 11, 2026
When should I arrive in Lake Wales, FL?
Please plan to be in Lake Wales from November 9–12. The immersive itself runs November 10–11, but we strongly encourage arriving on the 9th to settle in and departing the morning of the 12th. The ranch is located about 2 hours from Orlando airport, so please plan your flights accordingly.
A high-level agenda is below:
Day One (2:00 PM – 9:00 PM): Enjoy a selection of Wild Florida-inspired activities at the ranch and meet your fellow immersive participants at the Welcome Reception. The evening includes a cowboy dinner and special musical performance.
Day Two (8:00 AM – 9:00 PM): Explore the surrounding landscape through an interactive, guided outdoor field experience, hearing directly from the landowners, practitioners, and stewards who know it best. The afternoon continues with an immersive arts experience, followed by an evening NationSwell Signature Dinner.
How do I get to Eagle Haven Ranch / Westgate River Ranch Resort?
The ranch is located approximately 2 hours from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Tampa International Outfit. We are gauging interest in an airport shuttle bus for arrival on November 9th and departure on November 12th — please indicate your preference during registration.

Registrants will receive email updates detailing the event agenda and schedule. Please note that the event agenda is tentative and subject to potential changes.
What is the estimated cost for travel and lodging?
Accommodations will be at Westgate River Ranch Resort. Room rates and booking details will be shared soon via email. Please do not before until the booking link is shared.
When is the registration deadline?
The deadline to register for this immersive experience is October 2, 2026.
What should I know about walking and accessibility during the event?
This event takes place outdoors on a working ranch and includes a boat excursion, so expect walking on natural, sometimes uneven terrain throughout the day. If you have mobility concerns or need accommodations, please reach out in advance so we can help you plan for a great experience.
What should I pack?
Dress casual and outdoor-ready throughout the event — sturdy, closed-toe shoes are a must (no sandals or heels, given the ranch terrain). Temperatures in Lake Wales during November averages between 75-80 degrees. Light, breathable clothing is encouraged, along with sun protection (hat, sunscreen). For the signature dinner, feel free to dress smart casual.
Can I make changes to my registration later?
