Overview
The 2024 Problem Gambling Conference, hosted by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, is an opportunity to learn more about the many ways to limit and mitigate the harmful impacts of problem gambling and related issues on individuals, families, and communities. The conference will provide a space for authentic discussion and dialogue, where individuals with lived experience and individuals with professional expertise can continue to advance the public health response to problem gambling.

Equity in Action: Working Together to Mitigate Harms Across the Commonwealth
Objectives
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Understand the concept of equity, engagement, and empowerment.
- Explore ways to implement equity, engagement, and empowerment throughout the keynote presentation, workshop sessions, and information tables.
- Identify ways to incorporate equity, engagement, and empowerment into their roles and organizations to mitigate harms associated with gambling.
Participants who attend the full one-day conference and complete the post attendance survey will have an opportunity to earn 5.5 LADC continuing education credits.
