REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Provider Member: Voluntary, not-for-profit, and governmental organizations operating within the state of New York providing care, housing and services for the aging and special needs populations that are members in good standing of LeadingAge New York.

Provider Non-Member: Not-for-profit organizations or for-profit companies providing care, housing and services for the aging and special needs populations that are not members of LeadingAge NY.

Business Member: Individuals and companies that are Associate members in good standing.

Business Non-Member: Companies that produce goods and services of interest to Provider Members and Provider Non-Members that are not members in good standing of LeadingAge NY.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Check payments can be accommodated when necessary, however; registrations will not be complete until payment is received. Full payment must be received before the start of the event to ensure entry and access to online materials.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations received 7 days prior to the event are refundable, less a 25 percent administrative fee. Those who are registered and cancel after that date or do not attend the event will not receive refunds and are still responsible for payment in full if not already paid.

CONFERENCE MATERIALS

Conference materials are available in our mobile conference app. Session handouts are posted to our app as we receive them from the presenters. Not every session has a handout. Before the conference, you will receive a link to download the mobile app. Materials will remain on our app for 30 days after the conference for your reference. Printed materials will not be provided.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT

Generic Certificates of Attendance are awarded upon request and verification of hours attended. Certificates will be sent via email approximately 30 days following the program.

Activity Professionals

This program has been submitted to the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) for approval of 10.5 instructional hours. Credit will be awarded upon request and verification of hours attended. Credit is awarded upon request and verification of hours attended. Assisted Living Administrators

This program offers up to 12 hours of continuing education credit for ACF/AL professionals. Credit is awarded upon request and verification of hours attended. Credit certificates will be sent via email approximately 30 days following the program. (Total hours are inclusive of the pre-conference)

Certified Public Accountants

LeadingAge New York/FLTC is authorized by the NYS Education Department to award continuing professional education (CPE) credits to individuals who successfully complete coursework in the following subject areas: “Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Advisory Services and Specialized Knowledge and Applications.” This program offers up to 10.5 CPEs for CPAs. Credit is awarded upon request and verification of hours attended. Credit certificates will be sent via email approximately 30 days following the program. (Total hours are inclusive of the pre-conference)

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists

This program has been submitted to the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) for approval of 10.5 CE session hours. Credit is awarded upon request and verification of hours attended. Credit certificates will be sent via email approximately 30 days following the program. (Total hours are inclusive of the pre-conference)

Human Resource Professionals

This program has been submitted for 5.5 hours HR (General) re-certification credit hours toward aPHR®, aPHRi™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®). Credit is awarded upon request and verification of hours attended. Credit certificates will be sent via email approximately 30 days following the program.

Licensed Nursing Home Administrators

This program is sponsored by The Foundation for Long Term Care (FLTC), the educational affiliate of LeadingAge New York. The FLTC is a certified sponsor of professional continuing education with the National Association of Boards of Examiners for Long Term Care Administrators (NAB). This program has been submitted for 12 CEUs listed under their sponsor agreement with NAB/NCERS. State licensure boards, however, have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses. Credit is awarded upon request and verification of the hours attended. Attendance is reported directly to NAB within 30 days of the program. Certificates will be available via your NAB CE Registry. (Total hours are inclusive of the pre-conference)

Licensed Social Workers

LeadingAge New York, Inc., SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s (NYSED) State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers. This conference offers up to 10.5 contact hours of continuing education for Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW). Credit is awarded upon request and verification of hours attended. Credit certificates will be sent via email approximately 30 days following the program. (Total hours are inclusive of the pre-conference)
