This professional learning session is designed to help educators start the school year strong with Unique Learning System (ULS). Participants will learn effective strategies for implementing ULS and will have opportunities to ask questions and deepen their understanding of the platform's features and instructional resources.

Content standards for continuing education credit hours that apply to this PD are highlighted below.
The content and objectives of in-service continuing education credit hours must relate to one or more of the following:
- Opportunities for participants to collect and analyze evidence related to student learning;
- Professional certificate standards;
- Paraeducator standards of practice as described in Title 179 WAC;
- School and district improvement efforts;
- Education frameworks and curriculum alignment;
- Research-based instructional strategies and assessment practices;
- Content of current or anticipated assignment;
- Advocacy for students and leadership;
- Supervision, mentoring, or coaching; or
- Building a collaborative learning community.
Source: State Content Standards (Chapter 181-85 WAC)Include clear and meaningful learning objectives that explain how the learning will be relevant to district staff and applicable to their professional practice. Objectives should identify practical strategies, skills, or knowledge that participants can apply in their roles to support students, colleagues, and the broader school community. Whenever possible, the objectives should highlight how the learning can be transferred into everyday practice and contribute to improving student support, well-being, and overall school environments.
