Thank you for participating in the annual Distilled Spirits Council of the United States ("DISCUS") Conference to be held in Washington, DC, during March 2027 (the "Conference"). We look forward to having you speak at the event.

During the Conference, DISCUS may make recordings, transcriptions, or save other records from the programs and events. As a participant in the Conference, you agree irrevocably to permit, authorize, grant, and license DISCUS and its assignees to use your likeness, including but not limited to your voice and image. In addition, you grant DISCUS a non-exclusive right to use any written or visual material submitted in connection with your presentation(s) at the Conference in any and all media or forms of communication, whether now existing or hereafter developed, Including but not limited to (I) the transcription, reproduction, and distribution of your presentation(s) or related material(s); (ii) the use of your presentation materials to promote or otherwise publicize DISCUS and the Conference; and (iii) the use of your name, likeness, and biography in connection with the advertising, publicity, and promotion of Conference programming, DISCUS, or both.

You represent and warrant that you have full power and authority to enter into this Release and that any material, including but not limited to your presentation, that you submit conforms with the following criteria: (i) you own the material or otherwise have permission to use it; (ii) the material is not subject to any third party's copyright or you have obtained permission from the proprietor of the copyrighted material for use as dictated by this release; and (iii) the publication of the material will neither constitute libel against any person nor will it infringe upon nor invade the rights of others. You further agree that you will provide any applicable permission agreements for the use of any material copyrighted by a third party, or third parties, upon request and that you will indemnify DISCUS for any liability or costs Incurred as a result of breach of this warranty.

For purposes of this “Participant Release & Code of Conduct” document, “Event” means my participation in the DISCUS 2027 Annual Conference in Washington, D.C., hosted or facilitated by the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS). In consideration of the opportunity to participate in the Event, I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge and agree that:

1. AUTHORIZATION TO RECORD AND TO USE RECORDINGS AND NAME. I hereby grant to the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States its affiliates, contractors and licensees (collectively “DISCUS” permission to audio and video record my voice, image, name, and any other aspect of the Event (collectively the “Recording”) and the right, throughout the world, in perpetuity, to register for copyright, to use and to assign and/or license others to use all or any portion of the results thereof (or a reproduction thereof), in all media and in any manner now known or hereafter developed, in connection with DISCUS activities, promotions, and marketing. I shall have no right of approval and no legal claim arising out of any use or editing of the Recording or my name or likeness. DISCUS shall have no obligation to use any of the rights I grant. I represent and warrant that it is not necessary for DISCUS to obtain permission from or to pay any third party in connection with the rights and permissions granted in this paragraph.

2. RELEASE FROM LIABILITY. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, estate, insurers, successors and assigns, fully and forever release and discharge DISCUS and the affiliates and subsidiaries of DISCUS and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, distributors, representatives, partners, contractors, successors, assigns, and insurers from any and all liability, losses, damages, claim, demands, lawsuits, expenses, and any other liability of any kind, directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Event, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
